And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!
My name is Lyncon, and I’m the founder of Gather the Gals Podcast and Ministry. What started as a small dream, with my husband being my only listener, has now become a global top 1.5% Christian women’s podcast, reaching thousands of women around the world and averaging over 100,000 downloads a month.
God gave me the idea for Gather the Gals at 3 a.m. during a rough postpartum season, yes, right in the middle of the pandemic. I was anxious, overwhelmed, and purely exhausted. I loved being a mom, but I couldn’t help but wonder, “Is this all there is?” No sleep, endless diapers, loneliness, and constant worry about whether I was doing it right.
Even though God clearly spoke to me to start this community, it wasn’t until I was pregnant with my third baby, a little girl, that I finally said yes.
I’m also a pediatric nurse of ten years, and when God called me to start a podcast and ministry, I had zero idea what I was doing. I told Him more than once, “Lord, please find someone else. There are already so many amazing women out there doing this.” But God kept showing me the need, a need that wasn’t being met.
There were moms who felt alone, overlooked, and exhausted, constantly playing the mom guilt and comparison game in their minds. They had dreams but didn’t know how to chase them. They lacked support, prayer, and friendship, women to hold them, encourage them, and dream alongside them.
You see, God has given each of us unique gifts to be used for His glory and His kingdom. When we lay down our comparison and bring our gifts to the table, beautiful things begin to blossom.
God can use you, no matter the season, the struggle, or the sin you’ve faced. God meets you where you are. We’re called to surrender it all, give it back to Him, and serve Him faithfully with what He’s entrusted to us.
At Gather the Gals, we believe Community is key. Jesus wants us to do life together. Motherhood is a ministry. Your mission field is right where God has placed you. Prayer changes things. We encourage you to pray bold prayers, stay rooted in Scripture, and serve Jesus with everything you’ve got.
You can do the thing God has called you to do, when you keep Jesus first and believe in the power of the Holy Spirit inside of you.
Kingdom over culture
Gather the Gals is committed to helping moms raise kingdom kids and not kids who follow in the ways of the world.
